Welcome to the new Coach House Café for Penlee House Gallery & Museum, situated in the beautiful surroundings of Penlee Park in Penzance.

Nestled within the historic grounds of Penlee House, the Coach House has long been part of this much-loved Victorian estate.

The main house was built in 1864–65 as a fine Italianate residence for local miller and merchant John Richards Branwell. Its coach house and service buildings supported daily life on the estate, housing carriages, horses and estate stores, and later evolving to serve the needs of the community as the property became a public park and museum.Whether you are visiting the gallery, strolling through the park, or simply looking for a warm and inviting place to pause, we look forward to welcoming you to experience history, community and great coffee in one historic setting.
